La soupe du Samedi de Grand-mère = Grandma's Saturday soup

Summary

Mimi misses her grandma. Everyday something reminds her of grandma's special Saturday soup and the tales her grandma tells. Grandma tells me about the sunrise and sun sets in Jamaica. "The sun rises early and makes you feel good and ready for your day. When it sets and the moon comes out she is followed by a million stars that look like diamonds twinkling in the night sky." A million stars, I can't even imagine that many. Sally Fraser's delightful description of Jamaica and the wonderful soup accompanied by Derek Brazell's vivid illustrations makes us all wish that we had a grandma like this.
